T1C1 Domain 1 — Assess and Monitor Population Health
This course develops the learner’s practical understanding of PHAB Domain 1: Assess and Monitor Population Health. Learners follow the population-health data cycle—from assessing community health and developing the Community Health Assessment, through collecting and sharing population health data, to analyzing findings, communicating results, and using evidence to inform public health action. Realistic documentation examples help learners connect routine public health practice to strong accreditation evidence.

- Domain 1 in Practice: From Assessment to ActionDomain 1 is organized into seven lessons that take learners through the health department’s complete data-to-action journey. The course begins with an overview of Domain 1 and then moves through development and use of the Community Health Assessment (CHA), collection of additional quantitative and qualitative population health data, data sharing, and finally the analysis and use of findings to inform public health action.
