Domain 1 is organized into seven lessons that take learners through the health department’s complete data-to-action journey. The course begins with an overview of Domain 1 and then moves through development and use of the Community Health Assessment (CHA), collection of additional quantitative and qualitative population health data, data sharing, and finally the analysis and use of findings to inform public health action. Across the seven lessons, learners will examine how a health department: Assesses the population → Collects data → Shares data → Analyzes data → Develops and shares findings → Uses findings to inform action
